I GOT LEID

Let's see where should I start on my update...how about Friday. I worked 9-3 on Friday and then met Lindsey in Bloomington. We went to Lancaster & Platteville to look at a few cars that I was interested in. I found a '99 Dodge Neon Sport that I really liked, but it was closed so I couldn't test drive it. I had power windows, locks, and a power moonroof. =) We went to Wal-Mart & got some potato oles & a quesadilla to share at Taco Johns. We went to Dani Jo's house around 8, I think. That was a lot of fun. I saw Alicia, Emilie, Mason, Christine, Cathy, Renee, and of course, Dani Jo there. =) Got caught up on some good gossip, as always. haha I'm not a farm girl by any means, but I had a good time on the farm. :) I played w/ a puppy all night. lol. Happy Birthday, DJ!

When I got home on Friday night, there was a call from Darrell, the guy who has been going to car auctions to find me a car. He has a few on the list this week. If he likes it, I'm going to be buying a '98 green cavalier w/ 56,000 miles for $3500 from him. I like the low mileage. That way, when I get out of college, it could still have some value when I trade it in. I need a car by Saturday, so I hope this works. Otherwise, I'm going to buy the Neon in Pville.

On Saturday I got up early and went to Pville w/ Mom to look at the Neon. I test drove it & really liked it, but the dealer is asking a little too much. It's my last resort if I can't get the Cavalier from Darrell. I'm really sick of car shopping! On Thursday night, I looked in IA. We went to Monona, Waukon, and Decorah but didn't find anything. Grrrr.

I had to work 2-10 on Saturday. It wasn't too bad, but I was a bear for 2.5 hours. Yuck. It was hotter than hell outside. It was Hawaiin Luau weekend. I got to wear a grass skirt. haha Woo hoo! Oh, that's where the titled of my post came from, too. After work, I went to Dustin's campsite and sat around the fire w/ a bunch of seasonals. Everyone was pretty much wasted. They all want me to drink with them, so I guess I'm doing that in a few weeks. A few of them told me I could stay in their camper that night, so it works out well. Some great quotes from the night (that none of you will laugh at because you weren't there..)

Haha, great night. I got home at 2:15 & crashed. Oh, Julie and Dick both told me last night that I'm their favorite worker from Jellystone. Last weekend, Sue told me that. I'm doing well. =)

Today & tomorrow are my days off. I slept until 2 today. :) I think I'll do dishes & lay out in the pool for awhile. Then I need to clean my room. Tonight I'll finally get to run for the first time in 4 days! Yay! It's been too hot to run when I've been home, since I haven't been home after 5 since Tuesday. Tomorrow I think I'm stuck at home again since Mom & Scott want to take the van to Rochester & Scott doesn't want me driving his Jeep unless it's an emergency. *Rolls eyes*
